Overview
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated communication data stored within the Aron ecosystem.
What Data is Deleted?
When you request account deletion, the following data points are purged from our live production databases (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage):
- Identity & Contact Info: Your legal name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and physical address.
- Communication Assets: All custom communication buttons, including their unique labels, category groupings, and phrase suggestions.
- Media Assets: Your profile photograph and any custom images uploaded to personalize your communication tiles.
- Configuration Data: Your preference settings, including Text-to-Speech gender selection.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: In-App Deletion
Open the Aron app, navigate to Settings, and select Delete Account. This will trigger an immediate purge of your cloud profile.
Option 2: Web Request
If you no longer have access to the app, you may request deletion via our technical support team. Please include the email address associated with the account.
Data Retention Policy
Once a deletion request is processed, it is irreversible. Please note that while all personal and communication data is removed from our active servers, some metadata may remain in our secure encrypted backups for a period of up to 30 days before being completely overwritten. We do not retain any data for monetization or commercial tracking after account closure.
